Description

In this video, we would like to introduce students to the concept of dynamic models. Chemical Engineering students work with dynamic models in several modules throughout their curriculum and this video hopes to create an awareness and understanding of what are dynamic systems, and how we develop models for these systems. Through a simple example given, we hope to help students to connect their previous learning and understanding of problem solving techniques and to be aware of the additional tools and skills that they need in order to build up their capabilities in solving more complex problems. Through a series of videos such as this first one uploaded for my Genius Channel, I hope to give more young and new Chemical Engineering students (and students thinking about joining Chemical Engineering) a peek into the challenging and interesting problems that we work with and engage their interest to take this course as a pathway to exciting future careers.
